Hi my name is Amanda and this is a blog about our family half-term holiday this year.
So we’re all very excited about going on holiday to Cornwall today. We’ve booked Bramblewood, a three bedroomed cottage in a small complex near the village of Poughill (pronounced Poffle) near Bude. I’m particularly looking forward to introducing Jack to some of the things I did as a child on similar holidays with my family. Rock-pooling, climbing rocks and having gritty sandwiches on the beach – maybe I’ll spare him the last one! Having looked at the extensive list of things already at the cottage means I haven’t had to do my usual “pack the kitchen sink” with things like hand soap, loo roll and tea towels all being provided.
