The journey back was pretty straightforward with a stop at the services and we seemed to be home in no time.
It seems we’ve brought back a few souvenirs; a postcard for Jack’s geography homework, pebbles from the beach and a lot of sand in our wellies!
The next day we discovered that we had also returned with our revived love of board games and non-electronic activities that we uncovered at Bramblewood. We had a marathon of Frustration, Connect-4, chess, Guess Who? and Family Trivial Pursuit. Jack then settled down to a session of Spirograph that had arrived in post from ebay whilst we’d been away (the old-fashioned type with the pins!)
Thoroughly relaxed we’re ready for Monday morning….well almost.
